The Glad Game

I haven't posted in a while. After reading about the Glad Game over at Over the Moon with Joy - http://overthemoonwithjoy.blogspot.com/? I thought there was no time like the present to post and be positive. I would say that there are times I am much more of looking at the glass as half-empty, however in the interest of sanity, I'm trying to learn new behaviors that look for the positive. No time like the present. There are some things that are always going to be negative. We will see sadness, sorrow, doubt, sickness. It is never ending. However, if we take the time to look - there is joy, even in sadness. The sun is still there on cloudy, rainy days. It is just hiding behind the clouds. Just as our God is here with us, even when we can't see Him, can't feel His closeness. Perhaps our view is just clouded with this world. I am so glad for the rain and wind we're having that are taking down all those leaves. Soon we will have a snow - that will make everything look clean and new. Thank you God for your mercies that are new every day. Thank you for encouragement that comes from so many places - friends, blogs, co-workers. What a blessing your daily presence is in our lives.
