Graduation Doesn't Mean Adult

So, there has been lots of action here over the past week. We have been through 2 graduations, 1 party for graduation, 1 child move out with no warning, (oh wait, I mean adult because 18 does mean you can do whatever the %*#@ you want to do without regard for anyone's feelings right??), 1 child end a long year on a positive note, 1 child end elementary school - meaning no more elementary school :o(, making one sad mommy as she learns that her babies are growing up, first time for kids to stay home alone all day. Nothing burnt down, and a leak was discovered and stopped by Princess A, first veggies were harvested this week from the garden, and we went on our date night to the mall. And that's only been in the last 7 days. Where does this ride stop, I want to get off!!!!????
Wow that was a long sentence. Hmmmm. If only this had been a bad dream, and I could now wake up.
I've said it many times to myself and others this week, and I do believe it - God knew this was coming and knows what will happen next. I'm glad I don't have to figure it out. I can pray and let God worry.

Not Me Monday - Take 1

Love Love Love McMama over at My Charming Kids, and love her fun and honest look at motherhood and life in general. So here is my first ever post for "Not Me Monday."
1. Over the weekend, I did not think to myself - "you know self, I don't remember the last time I cried" (thinking - I don't think that has ever happened in the last 15 years), and then proceed to have a small little crying breakdown on Sunday.
2. Nor did the king and I (hehe. that makes me laugh) sing along to "I Got You Babe" on the radio, not once but twice.
3. That was not me who spent 45 minutes cleaning out the dryer vent of 15 bobby pins, 3 toothpicks, and 4 years worth of lint.
4. I know you did not see me at the walking program at work over lunch not able to touch my toes while we were stretching - nope that wasn't me.
